A WEEK IN DUBAI! PART SIX

Day 6: Sun, Sand & the Burj al Arab
Friday 16th October 2015
Today we had a lie in we woke up at 11:30am and left Kathryn's flat at 12:30pm. We caught a taxi and travelled to Sunset beach where we took some photos of the Burj al Arab hotel (the only 7 star hotel in the world).  It's very beautiful to look at and a lot bigger when you see it in person. We then caught another taxi and headed to JBR walk and beach. We went for lunch at ihop, kathryn had blueberry pancakes and I had French toast (both of us didn't finish our food). After lunch we went to the beach and went swimming in the sea (it was really relaxing as the sea temperature was as warm as a nice bath). (Whilst at the beach there was a dj from virgin radio doing a dj set so it was really nice being able to sing and dance on the beach whilst relaxing and getting a tan). We sunbathed on the gorgeous white sand for a good few hours, we both fell asleep and when I woke up there were 2 camels lying down in the sand right above above our heads (people could pay to ride them up the beach like we ride donkeys on our beaches at home). Kathryn and I went for another swim in the sea and whilst we were swimming we watched people sky diving out of airplanes. We then sunbathed until sunset (about 5:45pm). We got dressed packed our towels up and left the beach. On the way to getting a taxi we visited gallery one and I brought myself a set of 3 pieces of art work from a Dubai artist.

After getting our taxi back to Kathryn's flat we got ready to head out for tea, we went to Tony Roma's for food before going to level 43 bar the view from our seats outside on the roof terrace were to die for! I loved it! We left the bar at about 1:45am and got a taxi back to Kathryn's flat. We went to bed so that we'd be ready for the next day.

Check back tomorrow for part seven,
